Garry Makamson Farms has been in operation since 1974. We started out with 450 acres and have grown significantly.
Garry Makamson Farms is a growing organization that offers many opportunities for employment, custom farming, college internship and scholarship opportunities.
Loyce Makamson was Garry's father who helped him get his start in farming. Loyce farmed for approximately 35 years before leaving his land to his children after his passing.
We are a farm that knows the importance of growth and change. Although we have a strong team of employees, we are always open to the possibility of new employees to help with productivity on the farm.
If you have land that you are interested in custom farming, contact us. Whether it's new land you have received and are looking for a long term relationship or you just need seasonal help, we offer custom farming possibilities.
We offer summer jobs to interns in exchange for payment and class credit. Interns will have opportunities to gain farming experience as well as the potential to have a career through farming.
Continuing education and giving back to the community is important at Garry Makamson Farms. We believe education is a huge part of successful farming.
